Now your oldschool televisions all had glass rounded fronts. It was a given because of the tube design that made the whole thing work.  But will technology superseed this? will projection and other materials ever render the glass fronted design of the television useless?

Its basically a best of both scenario – the glass fronted quality found in the heavy tv’s of yesteryear with the hidden and flatscreen aspects of modern tvs.
